Consider personal training an investment in your health. You purchase a package of sessions upfront. The general price ranges from $55-$65 per session. Add a friend or family member and the cost will be less.
All you need is a positive attitude, workout clothes and shoes, and a place in your home or office. Purchasing an exercise bench will be necessary. No other supplies are necessary- buying further equipment is strictly optional.
The general hours are M-F 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sat 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. There will be no sessions on Sunday. We’ll go over your preferences and the trainer’s availability to see what will work out the best.
No. It is best for you to set up your preferred days and times each week. However, with 24 hours notice you can change or cancel at any time without being charged.
No. Training will change your composition and may very well decrease fat and increase muscle in a certain area. However, when you lose weight it is not possible to target the exact spot the weight is lost from.
While nutrition is an important part of the success in any program- working out will change your composition and has many other benefits as well (see that section). With exercise, weight loss tends to be larger than with diet alone. There is a better chance of you keeping it off as well. Working with a trainer increases and maximizes your results. A trainer increases your chances of staying with a program so you can see the results you wish to see.
